From Empty Rooms to Everyday Retreats

Your home is more than walls and windows—it’s a backdrop for the way you recharge, work, adventure, and connect. That’s why every space Trailside Homes designs starts with flexibility in mind, giving you the freedom to shape your home into something that fits your lifestyle today—and evolves with you tomorrow.

Discover the transformations that turn blank rooms into everyday retreats.

1. Transforming Empty Spaces Into Gathering Places

One of our favorite transformations takes a simple spare room and turns it into a cozy movie retreat—complete with plush seating, warm lighting, and a big screen for family movie marathons or a quiet place to unwind after a day on the Cle Elum trails.

2. Turning Basements into More

For some families, a basement or unfinished storage area becomes a private home gym—no commute, no crowds, just pure convenience. For others, it transforms into a rec room, hobby studio, or organized storage for outdoor adventure gear. These flexible spaces adapt to your lifestyle, making your home truly your own.

3. A Laundry Room That Works Hard—And Looks Good

Our laundry and mudroom spaces combine function with personality, turning an unfinished utility area into a bright, organized drop zone. With built-in storage and room for all of life’s gear, it’s more than just laundry—it’s a space designed to keep your family’s rhythm flowing.

4. Kitchens That Turn Meals into Memories

The kitchen is the heart of every home. It’s where morning coffee tastes better, where homework is done around the counter, and where dinners turn into lasting memories with family and friends.

5. Living Rooms That Feel Like You

Your living room should be where you can truly recharge. Whether it’s curling up after a day outdoors, hosting friends for game night, or enjoying quiet time under the glow of a fire, your living room becomes the backdrop for life’s best moments.
