The first step is home discovery. It’s all about getting organized and clarifying your vision. We will discuss your idea and offer our expertise. Some questions we will ask you:

• What kind of home are you envisioning?
• What are your must-haves and nice-to-haves? On the other hand, what are your deal breakers?
• What is your budget?

When the first step is completed, we will have outlined your home’s look, defined specific goals to achieve within your home, and determined the budget to ensure your home aligns with your financial plan.

The second step is where we, as your strategic allies in this journey, help you turn your vision into a concrete plan. We will work on developing a timeline, creating a preliminary design, and laying out details of where your home will be situated. We act as your consultants and will guide you through this process to ensure it’s as stress-free as possible.

Step three is where all the fun begins. This is where we will work on finalizing the construction details and where you can make your home truly unique. You can partner with a designer or choose from a variety of Trailside-designed finish options to select finishes and plan out your outdoor space. On our end, we will work on ensuring all necessary permits are in place, outline the cost breakdown, and establish a timeline for construction.

And finally, the most thrilling step, step 4 – begin building your home! By now, we will most likely become best friends and will celebrate the groundbreaking with some champagne. Cheers! All that’s asked of you at this point is to sit back, relax, and watch the home you dreamed about become a reality.
